Creating unique brand design, installation and print materials to celebrate Asia Miles’ 20th-anniversary flight campaign.
Asia Miles is a frequent flyer and rewards programme in which members can earn miles to redeem a wide range of travel and lifestyle awards. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Asia Miles was giving away member-exclusive flights to Bangkok. Asia Miles commissioned DASH to create a range of marketing material for the celebratory flight, including an airport installation, branding, print materials and digital elements.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Asia Miles was giving away member-exclusive flights to Bangkok. Challenge.
Seats on the celebratory flight were exclusively for Asia Miles members, and it was essential to ensure a unique and exclusive experience both before and onboard the flight through any advertising or creative. The project required the creation of a small exhibition stand at the flight boarding gate which would act as a photo spot to welcome passengers. As the stand would be in the airport, the challenge was to create something visually engaging while adhering to strict airport safety and security standards in regards to materials and dimensions.
Creative Direction &Design.
To make the flight feel unique, the design and project’s art direction drew inspiration from various elements associated with Bangkok – from nature to architecture to cuisine. At the same time, print and digital elements leveraged the Cathay Pacific brand colour palette as the airline was Asia Miles’ partner for the flight and marketing campaign. The stall at the gate was enhanced with paper boats and fruit to bring elements of Bangkok to life, while adhering to the design and safety standards set by the airport authority.
