Challenge.
The new bulk package contained 2 energy shot bottles. Simply advertising the package with 2 bottles probably wouldn’t make much difference to sales and DASH needed to ensure that the packaging design was eye-catching and visually appealing to attract attention.
Design &Creative Concept.
5-hour ENERGY was still relatively new to the Hong Kong market. DASH realised that this packaging offer presented an opportunity to continue to educate shoppers about the product, its features and benefits. 5-hour ENERGY’s target market is office workers, students and other hard-workers that need a boost to keep performing at their best. When creating the packaging design, the art direction presented a range of messages in text and visuals telling customers more about the product benefits in a down-to-earth and conversational tone.
When choosing the materials for the packaging design, DASH took inspiration from document folders to associate the brand with the office and a working environment, while ensuring the packaging was secure and strong to keep the product safe and in top condition.
