DASH was tasked with the IL COLPO GROUP’s website design project. Our art direction focused on a classy, minimalist black and white theme featuring stylish photos of their work and salons.

A highlight of the project was designing IL COLPO’s online membership system which seamlessly connects to their in-salon POSM system. This has enabled IL COLPO to quantify their clients’ spending habits so that this can be converted into membership points. Points may then be redeemed into discounts or free products and this helps them to encourage customer loyalty and future spending with the group.

Logo design and brand guidelines for San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong’s 70th anniversary in the city.

San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong Ltd (SMBHK) is a brewery based in Hong Kong and a majority-owned subsidiary of San Miguel Brewing International Ltd. To celebrate the beer’s 70th year in the city, SMBHK hired DASH to create a brand identity design and brand guidelines for a logo and typography that would communicate this special anniversary.

Challenge.

A potential customer’s initial experience with the IL COLPO GROUP is often on their website. We therefore needed to ensure optimal user interface and user experience to create the best first impression possible.

DASH was challenged to create an esthetically-pleasing website that mirrored the luxurious, high-end and premier quality of IL COLPO’s salons.

With the use of visually-stimulating and descriptive photos of their services and salons, simplistic yet classy typography, and a classic black and white theme, this was made possible.

Design &Creative Direction.

To capture the optimal art and design direction of the project, DASH conducted intense research to gain a deeper understanding of the IL COLPO’s objectives and vision.

With a focus on exceptional customer service, we opted to maximize the user experience and interface by ensuring that all content was optimized for viewing on a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

Using a minimalist design, this ensures that the customer can immediately find what they need with a limited number of clicks. This mimics the convenience and the impressive first visual impression that the customer gets when walking into an IL COLPO salon.
