As one of the world’s most well-known brands, Microsoft has high standards when it comes to their advertising campaigns and require effective visual marketing that will speak to a very wide target audience.

CHALLENGE.
The main challenge faced was creating visual communication that created a bonus to the images so that they benefitted the customer who could use the program not only to save on a Microsoft purchase, but to be kind to the environment by recycling old devices.
Their marketing message has always been clear and as a trusted brand, DASH needed instill this same sentiment in the trade-in advertising campaign. DASH was required to create animated banners and post images that Microsoft could use in their social media campaigns and Google display network. These visuals needed to create uniformity with the Microsoft brand and market Microsoft ’s well-known and high-quality service offerings.
CREATIVE DIRECTION &DESIGN.
Before embarking on the project, DASH conducted in-depth research to ensure we fully understood the company’s marketing goals and visions. We decided to present the trade-in promotion as a green plant, which is full of hope, implies growth, and has a positive message.
The key visuals were converted as animated banners or post images to relay the message clearly and concisely on both social media platforms and Google display networks in various sizes. In addition, we used clearly defined color blocks in sky blue and shades of orange. These simple blocks of color implied the simplicity and efficiency of the Microsoft trade-in process to encourage readers to a call to action.
