Challenge.
The website is the first interaction many potential buyers will have with the property development and the Madison Park brand. It was important that the website design clearly communicate the essential information a potential buyer is looking for and give them a sense of the lifestyle offering of the development, which was a key factor of its unique selling point. The website needed to reflect a modern feel, be intuitive to use and present the key information in a visually appealing way.
Creative Direction &Development.
A key element helping Madison Park stand out from other developments in Hong Kong is its lifestyle offering. The surrounding area and neighbourhood feature a tranquil natural environment and an inspiring art and culinary scene. To communicate these key offerings, DASH created a key visual for the website that was inspired by watercolour. The watercolour-style painting effect communicates the tranquillity and calm offered by the nature that is close by and the blending of colours create a sense of the modern, vibrancy offered by the neighbourhood. At the same time, watercolour is simple yet elegant to reflect the modern and high-quality architectural design and craftsmanship that residents can expect from the building. The website’s colour pallet further enhanced this message, with green and blue elements communicating calm and nature and vibrant hues to reflect the happening neighbourhood.
In the website design DASH placed images within the shape of a number “1” as a nod to the property’s address – 1 Kowloon Road. The images reflect local activities and lifestyle, with people playing sports and jogging in the surrounding nature.
For a modern and clean look, white space was incorporated to give the website structure and balance. DASH opted for a one-page scrolling design rather than a website with multiple pages to easily lead the user from one page element to the next. To break up the one-page design and to keep the website user engaged, DASH leveraged different media, such as a timelapse, video content and a photo gallery. The motion presented with each scroll lends a dynamic feeling to the website, while giving visitors key information about the property.
